Caravans

Get everything checked and aligned in a single visit so your caravan is 100% ready for the road.

Get a complete check in one go

When it comes to keeping your caravan towing safely, doing the mechanical service and wheel alignment together just makes good sense. A lot of drivers end up making two separate trips to get everything sorted, which just means twice the hassle.

Our staff are highly trained caravan mechanics who know exactly what to look out for. When your van is in for a service, we’ve already got the undercarriage exposed. That makes it the perfect time to check your alignment and make sure your suspension and running gear are doing their job properly.

We pride ourselves on thorough, honest workmanship. By combining our servicing experience with a proper alignment check, we make sure your van is completely road-ready in a single visit. Most people who get it done together once never go back to doing it separately.

What’s covered in a service

An annual service checks everything that keeps a van tracking straight and staying in one piece on rough roads.

The fault you can’t see from the driver’s seat

A wheel that’s only a few millimetres out of alignment won’t tell you. It just wears a little unevenly and adds a bit extra to your fuel and tyre bills over time.

New doesn’t mean aligned, either. Plenty of caravans and camper trailers are built overseas, and their wheels aren’t guaranteed to be set for Australian roads before they’re sold here. Worth a check even on a new van.

That’s why we recommend checking alignment every 6 to 12 months, and before any longer trip. Whether you’re heading up through the Pilbara, out to the Gascoyne, across the Nullarbor or down through the South West, it’s a quick thing to get right before you go, so the only thing you’re thinking about while you’re out there is the scenery.

Wheel-mounted sensors

Wireless sensors clamp directly onto each wheel, no jacking the van up first.

A reference point on the drawbar

A frame target mounted at the front lets us measure each wheel against the van’s actual centreline instead of the axle.

A half-turn roll, not a jack-up

You roll the van forward half a turn. Built-in sensors map toe, camber and thrust angles as it moves, so rim wobble doesn’t throw off the reading.

Live readings on the spot

Measurements stream straight to a tablet, so adjustments underneath are made in real time.

This works on any flat concrete floor, at the workshop or on site, because standard alignment bays aren’t built for a van and tow hitch.

Who’s doing the work

All Truck runs a workshop in Bellevue and mobile units that come to you, so a service or alignment isn’t limited by whatever’s booked into one bay. Behind it is 20+ years in wheel alignment, work Jacob grew up around before he ran the business himself.

Common questions

Can I book just the service, or just the alignment, without the other?

Yes. Booking both in one visit is the efficient option, but either can be booked on its own if that’s all you need right now.

My caravan is brand new. Does it still need an alignment check?

Yes. New doesn’t mean aligned. Many vans are built overseas and there’s no guarantee the wheels were set correctly before they reached Australia.

Do I bring the van to you, or do you come to me?

Either. We run a workshop in Bellevue and mobile units, so we can do the work at your site or you can bring the van in.

How long does it take?

We book it in as one visit. Let us know the details when you enquire and we’ll confirm timing before you book.

How often should I get this done?

Every 6 to 12 months, and before any longer trip.
